Gunfire Erupts at Kotla Chungi Junction

Around 9:45 pm on Tuesday, a sudden volley of bullets shattered the calm of Kotla Chungi crossing in Firozabad.   • Shipra: multiple projectiles struck her shoulder, abdomen and ribs; one bullet passed dangerously close to her hand.
  • Sunny: injuries to the chest and rib cage, judged severe enough to require transfer to a specialist hospital in Agra.

Emergency responders rushed them to the government trauma centre for immediate treatment.
