Selling prices of flour have achieved an all-time high in the state as a 20-kg flour bag is staying marketed at Rs2400 in Karachi and Quetta, said the Pakistan Bureau of Figures (PBS).
In accordance to the info released by the PBS, in Quetta with an increase of Rs480 for every 20Kg for the duration of the past 15 times, flour is getting offered at Rs120/Kg, when in Karachi price for each 20/Kg flour bag has risen to Rs260 in the very last 15 days.
As per information, in Hyderabad, a 20kg flour bag is being bought at Rs2260, when in Larkana the price of 20Kg flour bag has been set at Rs2100.
Similarly, the price tag of 20Kg flour bag has attained Rs2,040 in Sukkur and 2,200 in Khuzdar.
PBS stats clearly show that the selling price of 20Kg flour bag is up to Rs980 in big metropolitan areas of Punjab, even though in Islamabad, the 20 kg flour bag is of the same selling price.
