The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has announced that the Group‑B Nursing Officer selection test will take place on 21 October 2026. The assessment will be administered as a Computer‑Based Test (CBT) in the morning session, following the timetable released on 5 October.

Admit‑Card Publication

Admit cards are expected to be uploaded on the official portal by 14 October 2026. Candidates should log in to pgimer.edu.in to download their hall tickets.

Steps to Download the Admit Card

Use the same user ID and password submitted with the online application, then go to Students > Info for Candidates. Once the PDF appears, save it instantly and double‑check that every personal detail is accurate.

Exam Centre Details

The admit card will show the candidate’s roll number, allocated centre, complete address, and reporting time. It will also mention gate‑opening and closing timings along with other vital instructions. Candidates are advised to review this information thoroughly before travelling.

City Allocation Notification

Applicants who completed the online registration will receive an email indicating the city of their assigned centre. PGIMER recommends checking the registered email regularly for updates. While the institute endeavours to respect the city preference entered during registration, allocations depend on seat availability and logistical considerations, which may result in a centre outside the chosen city or even another state.

Policy on Centre Changes

Requests to modify the allotted centre will not be entertained. Candidates must accept the venue printed on the admit card and arrange travel only after confirming the final location.

Application Window Closure

The online application period ended on 3 October 2026. Those who submitted their forms can still view and download their applications from the recruitment portal until 11:55 pm on 6 October 2026. After this deadline, the portal will be closed.
