Operating revenue climbs to Rs 5,788 crore

Trent Ltd, the retail powerhouse of the Tata Group, posted standalone operating revenue of Rs 5,788 crore for the July‑September quarter, marking a 23 % increase year‑on‑year over the Rs 4,724 crore recorded in the same period last year.

The six‑month total (April‑September) also rose sharply, reaching Rs 11,454 crore, a 21 % jump YoY, underscoring the sustained momentum across its brand suite.

Zudio hits the 1,000‑store landmark

Value‑fashion chain Zudio celebrated the launch of its 1,000th outlet during the quarter, adding a net 17 new stores. Its sister brand Westside contributed another 10 fresh locations.

Together, Trent’s portfolio now operates 1,342 stores across India as of 30 September 2026, reflecting an aggressive push into tier‑II and tier‑III cities.

Analyst sentiment turns upbeat

International brokerage BofA Securities initiated coverage on Trent, assigning a ‘Buy’ rating and highlighting the consistent top‑line expansion and the firm’s aggressive rollout strategy.

Store openings remain the primary growth driver

With Zudio now beyond the 1,000‑store mark and the overall network swelling past the 1,300‑store level, Trent is cementing its position as a leading force in India’s organised retail arena. Investors are keenly watching how the retailer leverages fresh store openings to power future earnings growth.
