The scheme targets a broad array of tools aimed at modernising Indian agriculture and reducing reliance on manual labour. The main categories include:
- Farm Machinery Banks
- Custom Hiring Centres (project costs up to ₹30 lakh)
- Agricultural drones
- Individual farm implements
- Crop‑residue management solutions
- Machinery for maize and millet cultivation
- Protective agricultural gear
How to Apply
Farmers should visit the department’s website, locate the Kisan Corner, and choose the “Machinery Booking” option. A brief online form must be completed, and the portal provides detailed information on each eligible machine, subsidy percentages, and step‑by‑step instructions.
