Finalising the Delhi Delegation
The Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister of Uttarakhand, Rekha Arya, hosted a strategic briefing at her Yamuna Colony residence in Dehradun, bringing together senior officials to polish the state’s showcase for the two‑day national departmental conference slated for 8–9 October in New Delhi.
Core Pillars to be Highlighted
The presentation will centre on Uttarakhand’s flagship initiatives covering women’s safety, economic empowerment, nutrition, Anganwadi outreach and child protection. Participants were tasked with weaving a persuasive storyline that reflects the state’s measurable progress and pioneering solutions.
Insights from Other States
Arya underscored that the forum offers a unique platform to learn from peer states. By analysing successful models elsewhere, Uttarakhand aims to refine the implementation of its own welfare schemes.
Minister’s Perspective and Prime Minister’s Address
Calling the event a source of pride, the minister noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to deliver a closing address, outlining his vision for women’s and children’s development nationwide. Arya believes his guidance could shape future policy directions.
Key Officials in the Coordination Meet
The review session featured Secretary Chandresh Kumar Yadav, Additional Secretary Karmendra Singh, Director Banshilal Rana and several senior department officers, who examined the slide deck, talking points and logistical arrangements in detail.
