Fatal Incident in Parsokha Village

On Thursday evening, four‑year‑old Ansh Chaudhary was playing close to his house in the hamlet of Parsokha, which falls under the Kotwali police area of Maihar district, Madhya Pradesh. While wandering near the edge of an uncovered septic tank that still contained water, he lost his balance and fell in.

Immediate Rescue Efforts

Neighbors and relatives rushed to the scene, pulled the child from the tank and rushed him to the nearest medical facility. Despite the doctors’ urgent attempts to save him, Ansh was declared dead, leaving his family devastated and the neighbourhood in disbelief.

Police Probe Initiated

The Kotwali police arrived swiftly, filing a case of accidental death. Investigators are examining why the septic tank was left uncovered and whether any protective barriers existed. The inquiry seeks to identify any negligence that may have contributed to the tragedy.
