Lucknow/Meerut. In the run‑up to “Mission 2027”, the BJP has stepped up its organisational drive across Uttar Pradesh. After a state‑wide mobilisation led by President Pankaj Chaudhary, national leader Nitin Navin is slated to tour Western UP, with stops in Meerut and Saharanpur on 21‑22 September.
During this two‑day swing, Navin will go beyond senior office‑bearers. He plans to sit down with the convenors of the party’s “Shakti Kendra” network and rank‑and‑file workers, collecting on‑the‑ground feedback about the party’s health, regional challenges and overall preparedness.
On 21 September in Meerut, Navin will address a “Yuva Samvad” (youth dialogue) and a gathering of Shakti Kendra convenors. He will also hold strategy sessions with MPs and MLAs representing Western UP. Roughly 5,000 convenors are expected to interact with him, allowing a close look at booth‑level structures, volunteer activity and district‑specific dynamics.
The visit coincides with a broader re‑organisation of the state BJP, which has recently installed fresh in‑charges for every district. Navin’s assessment is therefore seen as pivotal for testing the new hierarchy and ensuring the party is primed for upcoming campaigns.
On the second day, 22 September, Navin will travel to Saharanpur. After paying respects at the Maa Shakumbhari Devi shrine, he will join a series of meetings with party cadres, former MPs, ex‑MLAs and veteran functionaries, deepening the dialogue with the grassroots.
Through these engagements, the BJP aims to tighten its network at the booth, Shakti Kendra, mandal (block/cluster) and district levels throughout Western Uttar Pradesh.
